Report – Spurs to re-sign Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric

Tottenham Hotspur have allegedly earmarked Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric as their top January transfer targets.

The Croatia international has enjoyed a successful seven-year spell at the Spanish capital, there has recently been speculations of the 34-year-old midfielder being allowed to find a new club.

According to reports in Spain, Tottenham Hotspur are closely monitoring the rise of Luka Modric in order to re-sign him in the mid-season transfer window.

Modric could possibly be involved in an exchange deal involving Christian Eriksen, who is out of contract with the north Londoners at the end of the current campaign.
