Newcastle United keen on Jesper Lindstrom

Newcastle United are weighing up a summer move for Eintracht Frankfurt attacking midfielder Jesper Lindstrom, as per Calciomercatoweb.

The Denmark international, who is a regular player for both club and country, has become a popular figure at the Bundesliga outfit, playing a key role in their Europa League victory last year and scoring their first-ever goal in the Champions League earlier this season.

In the ongoing 2022/23 season, the 22-year-old has been highly productive, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in 20 appearances in the German top-flight.

His impressive performances have not gone unnoticed by other teams across the continent, and recent reports suggest that Arsenal are planning to sign the Danish playmaker during the summer transfer window. Now, Newcastle United, who are aiming for a top-four finish, have also joined the race to secure his signature.

The youngster is a promising talent with the ability to play in multiple attacking positions, both centrally and out wide.

However, securing Lindstrom’s signature won’t be an easy task for the Magpies as the midfielder is under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until 2026.
