Paris Saint-Germain sign Carlos Soler from Valencia

Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of Spanish midfielder Carlos Soler from Valencia.

The 25-year-old has penned a five-year contract at the Parc des Princes until the summer of 2027, in a deal thought to be worth in the region of £16.2m.

The Spain international has been a standout performer for the La Liga outfit in the past couple of years. He totaled 36 goals and 31 assists in 226 appearances for Los Ches.

The midfielder said: “I’m very happy! It’s a new adventure in my career. I feel very proud and I’m looking forward to starting work with my teammates, meeting them, and giving everything for this shirt.

“On Tuesday, we’re playing our first Champions League game at the Parc des Princes, and it’ll be an opportunity for me to get to know it. I’m certain that it’ll be a great party for everyone and for the fans.”

Soler becomes the Parisians’ sixth signing of the summer.
