Inter Milan considering move for Chelsea striker

Inter Milan remain undeterred in their efforts to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea during this summer’s transfer window, Sky Sport Italy claims.

The 28-year-old enjoyed a fruitful 2020/21 campaign for the Nerazzurri, contributing 30 goals from 44 appearances.

However, the Belgium international decided to leave the Italian outfit last summer after he rejoined the Blues in the Premier League.

Lukaku is currently a backup striker to Kai Havertz, and reports suggest that he could push for an exit this summer.

The west Londoners spent a massive £97 million to sign the Belgian last summer, but they are unlikely to recoup the sum amid his struggles.

Inter have reportedly placed emphasis on re-signing Lukaku, but may only propose a loan deal with an option to buy in June next year.
