Borussia Monchengladbach eyeing swoop for Eddie Nketiah?

Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah have emerged as rumoured suitors for Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 22-year-old has yet to make his first appearance in the Premier League this season.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta revealed his desire to tie the Englishman down to a new contract, with his current deal to expire next year.

The Gunners are rumoured to be preparing a three-year extension for the frontman, but according to The Sun, Nketiah does not expect to become a regular part of Arteta’s plans.

The report goes on to claim that Borussia Monchengladbach have reportedly expressed an interest in making an audacious move for the youngster over the winter and agree a pre-contract agreement ahead of a free transfer in the summer.

Nketiah has chipped in with 15 goals in 67 games for Arsenal.
