While the German tactician is intent on signing a new central midfielder, it appears that securing extra backup is also an area of concern.

According to Football Insider, the Premier League giants have taken an interest in signing Sparta Prague teenage forward Adam Hlozek.

The report adds that the Reds are now preparing a bid for the 18-year-old after watching him playing against Rapid Vienna on Tuesday’s Champions League qualifiers.

Hlozek made four appearances for Czech Republic at Euro 2020.
