Atletico Madrid keen on summer deal for Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Winks?

Atletico Madrid have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks.

The 25-year-old has struggled to cement his place as a first-team regular at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and a recent report suggested that Spurs are willing to entertain offers for the midfielder in the upcoming transfer window.

The England international has only turned out in 10 Premier League appearances this season, which has sparked speculation that he could end up seeking pastures new ahead of the new campaign.

According to Sky Sports News, Atletico Madrid unsuccessfully contacted the Lilywhites over a possible move for the Englishman last summer, and Los Rojiblancos will reignite their interest in the playmaker if his time at North London comes to an end.

Valencia have also expressed an interest in Winks, who is contracted to Tottenham until 2024.
