Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho ramped up his interest in Real Madrid defender Eder Militao, according to Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo.
Spurs are interested in a swoop to sign the Brazil international to bolster their defensive options.
The report claims that Mourinho has noted Militao’s lack of playing time at the Bernabeu as a potential incentive to launch an offer for the 22-year-old defender.
The Lilywhites are considering a move to sign the centre-back who has only made 23 appearances for Real Madrid.
However, AS say that it remains uncertain whether Los Blancos would be open to selling the Brazilian or how much the La Liga champions would look to secure as a transfer fee.
Real Madrid signed Militao from FC Porto in 2019.
