Barcelona, Real Madrid to battle for Michael Olise

Reading starlet Michael Olise is reportedly the subject of interest from the La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The French-born 18-year-old, who has contributed two goals and three assists in 11 appearances for the Royals in the Championship this season, is believed to be a prime target for the likes of Wolves, Everton, Leeds Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

However, according to reports in Spain, Barcelona and Real Madrid ‘love’ the teenager, who will seemingly have the pick of a number of clubs in 2021.

The attacker’s current contract is due to expire in June 2022, and there is currently an £8m release clause in his contract.

Olise signed a professional contract with the Championship outfit in July 2019.
