Tottenham Hotspur plan summer move for Vedat Muriqi?
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly stepped up their interest in Fenerbahce forward Vedat Muriqi, after being linked with the Kosovo international in the January transfer window.
While Manchester United have shown interest in the 25-year-old striker in the past, Takvim claims that Tottenham Hotspur are regarded as the frontrunners for the player’s signature.
The report adds that Spurs have set aside funds of £18m to try to tempt the Turkish giants into a sale during the summer.
It is understood that Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is keen to find a quality backup for Harry Kane, who sat out the last nine weeks with a hamstring injury.
Muriqi has scored 13 goals and provided four assists during the current campaign.
