Man Utd lining up move for Charalampos Kostoulas

Manchester United have reportedly enquired about Olympiacos’ 17-year-old attacking sensation Charalampos Kostoulas, as they continue their search for emerging talent across Europe. According to Greek outlet Sportime, the Red Devils have contacted Olympiacos to discuss the availability of the highly-rated forward.

Who is Charalampos Kostoulas?

Kostoulas is one of Greece’s most promising young talents. The versatile attacker primarily plays as a striker but can also operate as a second forward. He began his youth career at Agia Anna Volos before joining Olympiacos in 2017, where he has rapidly progressed through the ranks.

The 17-year-old made his first-team breakthrough in the 2024/25 season, featuring 33 times and contributing six goals and two assists. His impressive displays have caught the attention of top clubs, with Manchester United leading the race for his signature.

Why United Want Kostoulas?

Manchester United have a history of recruiting young talents, with Alejandro Garnacho and Ayden Heaven as recent examples. Kostoulas could be another exciting addition, offering competition to rising prospect Chido Obi-Martin in United’s striker department.

While United have already made an approach, Olympiacos are reluctant to sell, preferring to keep their starlet for at least one more season. However, if United push ahead with their pursuit, the Greek giants might demand a premium fee for the teenage sensation.

Will United Secure the Deal?

With Manchester United actively seeking youthful reinforcements, Kostoulas could become the latest wonderkid to make the switch to Old Trafford. However, convincing Olympiacos to part ways with their prized asset could be a challenge.
