West Ham United Consider January Loan Move for Axel Disasi

West Ham United have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Chelsea centre-back Axel Disasi on loan.

According to TBR Football, the Hammers are exploring a January loan deal for the 26-year-old defender, who joined the Blues for £30 million last summer.

Disasi, however, has struggled to establish himself at Stamford Bridge, and a temporary switch to West Ham may offer him the fresh start he needs.

West Ham are in dire need of defensive reinforcements, especially with Luizao potentially leaving in January. Disasi, known for his commanding performances with AS Monaco and the French national team, could bolster David Moyes’ backline and bring much-needed solidity.

A loan deal would be an ideal short-term solution for West Ham, while giving Disasi the opportunity to prove his worth in the Premier League.

For Chelsea, a successful stint at West Ham could increase Disasi’s market value, allowing them to potentially recoup a significant fee in the summer. With West Ham languishing in 14th place, strengthening their defence is critical if they aim to climb the table and secure a respectable finish this season.
