Report – Leicester City keen on Harry Maguire

Leicester City are reportedly interested in bringing back Manchester United defender Harry Maguire, who has struggled for regular game time and is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer.

While several foreign clubs have expressed interest, it’s believed that the England international prefers to stay in the Premier League.

According to The Sun, if the Foxes avoids relegation, they may make a loan move for Maguire’s services. Currently, the 2015-16 English champions are struggling in the bottom of the table, but they’re just one point away from safety and hoping to turn things around.

Brendan Rodgers’s recent sacking could lead to a positive change in Leicester City fortunes, and if they manage to stay in the league, Maguire might be tempted to rejoin his former club.

Man United ought to consider selling Maguire during the upcoming summer transfer window rather than opting to loan him out. Given his current career stage, it’s important for him to focus on securing a long-term solution to avoid losing his place in the England team.
