Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to be in the final stages of acquiring the signature of Atletico Madrid defender Felipe.
Reports suggest that Wolves are heavily linked with a large number of players from top European clubs.
According to Reuters, the West Midlands outfit are in the process of finalising a deal for Atletico center-back Felipe.
The 33-year-old has found it hard to establish himself as a regular starter at Wanda Metropolitano, with only one appearance since September of last year.
The two sides have already come to an agreement on personal terms, and now Wolves just need to finalise the transfer fee with the Spanish giants.
The Brazilian’s contract is set to expire in less than six months and Atletico are currently working on their financials, so it is likely that the transfer fee will not be a problem.
Los Rojiblancos are also said to be keen on signing Leicester City’s Caglar Soyuncu, and the exit of Felipe would aid that pursuit.
