PSG keen on signing Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli?

Arsenal striker Gabriel Martinelli has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain.

The 21-year-old has been in scintillating form for the Gunners this term helping the club to reach the top of the Premier League table, and his performances have understandably attracted interest from other top European clubs, including the Ligue 1 champions.

According to Media Foot, discussions are already underway between the Parisians and Martinelli’s representatives.

With his current contract due to expire in just 18 months, the North Londoners will be keen to tie the Brazilian down with a new deal to ward off any interest.

The youngster has become a vital player for Mikel Arteta, starting 14 games in the top flight, where he has netted five goals and provided two assists so far.

Martinelli was selected as part of Brazil’s World Cup squad in Qatar.
