Barcelona are reportedly keeping tabs on the situation of Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, according to a report.
The 31-year-old is due to become a free agent at the end of the season.
Gundogan has remained an integral part of the Citizens despite his contract situation, scoring twice and providing one assist in seven Premier League matches this season.
The Germany international is set to negotiate with foreign clubs from January onwards as things stand, and according to Sport, the attacker is still a target of Barcelona.
If the La Liga giants are unable to prise Bernardo Silva away from the Premier League champions, it is claimed that they will instead turn their attention to Gundogan.
The report adds that the German playmaker is yet to make a decision on his future, but the English champions will entertain offers if it becomes obvious that he has no desire to remain at the Etihad.
Gundogan has scored 51 goals and registered 34 assists in 263 games for Man City.
