Australian star batsman David Warner has signed a two-year deal with Sydney Thunder.
The 35-year-old, who last played in the Big Bash League in December 2013, is set to return to the 12th edition of the domestic tournament for the first time in almost a decade.
The veteran is expected to be available for the Sydney Test against South Africa. Then the team will depart for India for a four-Test tour.
Warner has played 96 Tests, 133 ODIs and 91 T20 matches for Australia.
