Manchester City want to sign Marc Cucurella
Manchester City reportedly remain undeterred in their efforts to sign Brighton & Hove Albion full-back Marc Cucurella.
The 23-year-old defender only joined the Seagulls last summer, with the club paying Getafe £15.4m to bring the Spaniard to the Premier League.
However, with Oleksandr Zinchenko is set to join Arsenal, Cucurella could be targeted by Manchester City as the Ukrainian’s replacement.
According to The Sun, the Premier League champions are prepared to up their efforts to secure a deal for Cucurella this summer.
Graham Potter’s side are reportedly looking to secure a fee somewhere in the region of £50m for Cucurella, but the Sky Blues are keen to bring that price down.
With the Spain international linked with a move away from the Amex Stadium, the Albion are looking to enter talks over improved new terms for the defender.
