Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Leicester City.
The Foxes are intent on signing a new number one goalkeeper in the summer following the speculation surrounding Kasper Schmeichel’s future ‘has gathered pace.
With the Denmark international entering the final 12 months of his contract, and the Foxes failing to qualify for European football next season, it has been suggested that he may look to leave the King Power Stadium.
As a result, The Telegraph claims that Leicester City head coach Brendan Rodgers is interested in a move for Brighton’s Sanchez, who has been a key figure between the sticks since breaking into the first team during the 2020-21 campaign.
However, the report adds how the Seagulls are likely to demand a huge transfer fees for the 24-year-old stopper, with the Spaniard currently having three years left on his contract.
