West Ham United have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for Lille’s defensive midfielder Amadou Onana in the summer, according to The Sun.
The Hammers boss David Moyes scouted Onana during Lille’s Champions League clash against Chelsea. As it stands, the east London outfit are believed to be interested in a summer move for the Belgian, who is valued at around £20 million.
The 20-year-old midfielder has made 30 appearances in competitions for Lille this season.
Even though the youngster has impressed for the French champions this term, the club will be willing to sell him for a fee of around £20 million.
If the deal goes through, the Belgian makes perfect sense for West Ham, who want to compete for European football in the seasons to follow as well.
Onana has a contract at Les Dogues until 2024.
