Real Madrid are weighing up a summer move for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland.
Haaland will have a £67m release clause in his contract at the end of the season, and the 21-year-old is widely expected to leave Westfalenstadion in the upcoming market.
A recent report claimed that Real Madrid wanted to wait until 2023 to sign the Norwegian, with the La Liga giants currently focusing on securing the signature of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
However, according to AS, Los Blancos are planning to move for Haaland during this summer’s transfer window.
The report adds that the youngster is interested in joining Los Merengues, although a number of other clubs are also believed to be in the race for his signature.
Manchester City are said to be the number one favourites to sign the Norwegian, while Barcelona and PSG are both firmly in the race for his signature ahead of next season.
Haaland has contributed 23 goals and six assists in 20 appearances for BVB this season.
