Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Bayern Munich, according to Sky Germany.
The Bundesliga giants are set to lose Niklas Sule at the end of the campaign, having already agreed a pre-contract deal with the league rivals Borussia Dortmund.
Sky Germany claims that the Bavarians prefer a low-cost signing, and Christensen is one of the names on their wish list. His contract with the Blues expires in June.
The Denmark international was initially touted to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
Barcelona have already in talks over a free transfer, but Bayern Munich could scupper their chances by luring the 25-year-old defender back to Germany.
The Dane spent two seasons on loan with Borussia Monchengladbach, where he racked up 62 appearances for the club.
