PSV Eindhoven defensive midfielder Ibrahim Sangare is reportedly on the radar of Newcastle United.
The Ivory Coast international joined PSV from Toulouse last year, and has played a starring role in the Dutch Eredivisie with some impressive performances.
He possesses a contract until the end of the 2024-25 campaign but is reportedly open to offers received from elite European clubs.
According to the Daily Mail, the 24-year-old is said to be on the top of Eddie Howe’s list of transfer targets with the Magpies ready to spend €18m to secure his signature.
It is understood that the Premier League outfit will beat several other clubs to the signing of Sangare, including AS Monaco, Hertha Berlin and league rivals Aston Villa.
The Ivorian is currently plying his trade for the national side at the African Cup of Nations 2021.
