Real Madrid have not given up hope of signing Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger, who would choose to join Los Blancos over any other club.
The speculation surrounding the 28-year-old defender continues to gather pace.
Rudiger’s will see his contract at Stamford Bridge expire at the end of next season, and the Blues are finding it difficult to come to an agreement with the Germany international over an extension.
Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have both been linked with the centre-back in recent days, with both clubs believed to be interested in a free transfer.
However, according to Bild journalist Christian Falk, Los Merengues remain the favourites for Rudiger, who would choose to move to the Spanish capital.
Falk claims that Madrid are ‘negotiating’ for the German, although he is yet to make a firm decision on his future.
Rudiger has contributed two goals and four assists in 21 appearances in all competitions.
