Real Madrid eyeing January move for Wilfred Ndidi

Real Madrid have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi at the start of 2022.

The Nigeria international joined the Foxes from Genk in January 2017 and has since gone on to score nine goals and register 11 assists in 187 appearances.

Manchester United are thought to be interested in the 24-year-old midfielder, who racked up 11 outings in all competitions at club level this season.

However, according to Fichajes, Los Blancos are keen to sign the attacker in the mid-season, with manager Carlo Ancelotti identifying him as a long-term replacement for Casemiro.

The report goes on to claim that an offer somewhere in the region of €60m is likely to be considered by the East Midlands.

Ndidi will see his contract at the King Power Stadium expire at the end of June 2024.
