Leicester City have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Southampton winger Mohamed Elyounoussi in the January transfer window.
The Foxes were heavily linked with a long list of attackers over the summer, and manager Brendan Rodgers is said to have prioritised that area to strengthen his side in the mid-season transfer window.
According to The Independent, the 2015-16 English champions have allegedly earmarked Elyounoussi as their top January transfer targets, although they face fierce competition from Arsenal for his signature.
Leicester were reportedly eyeing up Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi, and are now said to have turned their attention on the 27-year-old Southampton man.
The Norwegian spent a two-year loan spell with Celtic, in which he contributed 24 goals and 14 assists in 67 appearances.
Elyounoussi has scored his first league goal of the season in his first appearance as the Saints drew 2-2 with Newcastle United.
