Chelsea have emerged as rumoured suitors for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
The Blues are keen on signing a new centre-back this month.
The European champions recently failed with a player-plus-cash deal for Jules Kounde that would have seen Kurt Zouma move to Sevilla.
The Andalusian outfit prefer a straight-cash agreement, and Fabrizio Romano claims that Chelsea are in negotiations with them.
Chelsea are in direct contact with Sevilla for Jules Koundé deal. Talks ongoing – new bid coming soon from Chelsea, as they know Sevilla won’t sell Koundé on final days of the window. Timing will be key. 🔵 #CFC

However, they may need to move fast as Los Nervionenses may be reluctant to sell as the transfer deadline is about to come.
Sevilla are prepared to accept somewhere between €65-70m fee up front for the Frenchman.
