Atletico Madrid are lining up a swoop for Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Rafa Mir.
The 24-year-old has only made four appearances for Wolves since his arrival at Molineux three years ago, while he has spent the last three seasons on loan with Las Palmas, Nottingham Forest and Huesca.
He enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 campaign with Huesca, contributing 16 goals from 39 appearances in all competitions, and his contract at The West Midlands outfit now has less than 12 months left to run.
According to AS, Atletico boss Diego Simeone is keen to move for the former Valencia man, but a bid for the Spaniard is dependent on Saul Niguez’s future.
Mir has a deal at Molineux Stadium until June next year.
