The Spanish champions Atletico Madrid have emerged as rumoured suitors for Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard, according to 90min.
The 28-year-old winger scored nine goals and registered five assists in 16 appearances for West Ham United during a successful loan spell.
The Hammers are said to be keen to sign the England international on a permanent deal and are waiting on a decision as to whether he has a future at Old Trafford.
Los Rojiblancos have already approached Man United to register their interest in the Englishman ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
The report adds that Atletico manager Diego Simeone is a ‘big fan’ of Lingard due to his versatility to play in a number of different forward areas.
Lingard’s contract at Manchester United is due to expire next summer.
