Leeds United are in advanced talks with Cagliari over a deal for Nahitan Nandez.
The 25-year-old midfielder, who is currently representing Uruguay at the Copa America, has scored four goals and provided seven assists in 72 appearances for the Italian outfit since his move from Boca Juniors in 2019.
The Uruguayan still has three years left to run on his contract, but there is believed to be a €36m release clause in the agreement.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Whites are in advanced negotiations with Gli Isolani over a summer deal, and the Premier League outfit are hopeful of reducing the asking price.
Nandez has scored two goals and registered three assists in 34 appearances for Cagliari during the 2020-21 campaign.
