Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race to sign Atletico Madrid defender Kieran Trippier during this summer’s transfer window.
The Red Devils are understood to have identified the 30-year-old as the ideal right-back to provide competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The Spanish champions are thought to slap a €50m price tag on Trippier’s head, which has supposedly forced Man United to seek out alternatives such as Norwich City’s Max Aarons.
United’s interest could now be challenged by PSG, according to France Football, via Mundo Deportivo, the Ligue 1 giants are also keeping tabs on the Englishman’s situation.
The Parisians remain undeterred in their efforts to sign Inter Milan’s Achraf Hakimi as a priority, but a recent report suggested that Chelsea are at the head of the queue to sign the Moroccan, leaving PSG to consider other options for the right-back spot.
Trippier has made 68 appearances for Atletico since his move from Tottenham Hotspur in 2019.
