West Ham United plot summer move for Tammy Abraham

West Ham United have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham in the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old forward has scored 12 goals in 30 appearances for Chelsea during the 2020-21 campaign but has fallen out of favour over the last few weeks.

The England international has not featured for the Blues in the English top flight since the middle of February.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has admitted that he has “a lot of sympathy” for the Englishman, who is seemingly not in the long-term plans of the German tactician.

Leicester City are thought to be interested in the striker, and according to the Daily Mail, the Hammers are also firmly in the race for his signature should Chelsea put him on the transfer list ahead of next season.

Abraham has chipped in with 30 goals in 80 appearances Chelsea in all competitions.
