Borussia Dortmund have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Stuttgart forward Sasa Kalajdzic as an ideal replacement for Erling Braut Haaland, who is likely to depart the Westfalenstadion for a fee in excess of £100m this summer.
BVB have accepted that they are unlikely to keep hold of the Norwegian for yet another campaign, and the Black and Yellow are believed to have lined up an ideal replacement.
According to The Independent, Stuttgart’s Sasa Kalajdzic is on Dortmund’s radar after an impressive debut campaign in the German top flight.
However, the report adds that West Ham United and RB Leipzig could reportedly slug it out over the summer with BVB for the Austria international, although Dortmund are currently at the head of the queue to sign.
Kalajdzic has a contract at Stuttgart until 2023, and he has scored 13 goals in 26 Bundesliga appearances in the 2020-21 season.
