Arsenal interested in Valencia attacker Carlos Soler?

Arsenal have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler during the January transfer window.

The 24-year-old attacker has been in impressive form for Los Che during the current campaign, contributing six goals and five assists in 13 appearances in all competitions.

The Spaniard has a deal at Mestalla until June 2023, but the club’s financial crisis mean that he is likely to be made available for sale if a suitable offer arrives.

According to El Desmarque, The Gunners are ‘keeping a close eye’ on the midfielder and could be ready to test Valencia’s resolve with an offer during the winter transfer window.

The La Liga outfit are currently sit in 18th position, but Soler has been in sensational form for Javi Gracia’s side, netting five times and registering four assists in 12 appearances.

Soler has previously been linked with a switch to the Manchester United, but a move ultimately did not materialise.
