Chelsea enter race for Erling Braut Haaland?

Chelsea have reportedly joined the clutch of clubs hoping to sign Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Braut Haaland.

Despite a recent injury, the 20-year-old striker’s prolific start to life at the Bundesliga has continued into the 2020-21 campaign, with youngster boasting 17 goals in all competitions for BVB this term.

Manchester City have been strongly linked with a move for the Norway international as Sergio Aguero enters into the final few months of his deal, but the Premier League giants are expected to face fierce competition for Haaland’s signature.

Haaland’s father – Alf Inge Haaland – has previously insisted that his son is happy at the Westfalenstadion, but 90 min reports that Chelsea are hopeful about their chances of securing the Haaland’s signature in 2021.

The report adds that the Blues have already registered their interest.

Haaland is contracted to the Bundesliga giants until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
