Barca keen on signing Marseille defender Boubacar Kamara

Barcelona have emerged as rumoured suitors for Marseille defender Boubacar Kamara.

The France Under-21 international has already made 16 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit during the 2020-21 campaign, including five appearances in the Champions League.

The Premier League giants Manchester City have previously been credited with an interest in the 21-year-old defender, who came through the OM youth ranks before debuting in December 2016.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan giants have also identified the Frenchman as a potential arrival during the mid-season transfer window.

Barca are expected to bring a new centre-back to the turn of the year and also continue to be linked with Eric Garcia from Manchester City.

Kamara still has 18 months left to run on his contract at the Stade Velodrome.
