Leicester City reportedly preparing to battle Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of Swansea City centre-back Joe Rodon, according to a report.
The 22-year-old defender has also recently been linked with Manchester United and West Ham United.
Spurs are considered the No1 favourites to sign the Wales international ahead of Friday’s domestic deadline.
However, The Sun suggests that the Lilywhites have already had a £7m offer plus add-ons knocked back by the Swans, who demand more than double that amount.
With Tottenham reluctant to go too much higher in their next bid, it is reported that the 2015-16 English champions Leicester City may be about to pounce for the Welshman.
The report adds that Leicester head coach Brendan Rodgers is happy to hold off until New Year to bring in Rodon, but the centre-back himself is in search of pastures new.
