PSG identify Marcus Rashford as top summer target
Paris Saint-Germain have allegedly earmarked Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford as their top summer transfer targets.
The French champions currently boast the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in their attacking line-up, but the pair have been linked with moves away amid interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.
The Independent claims that PSG have identified Rashford as a player who could fill the void should the duo depart the Parc des Princes.
PSG coach Thomas Tuchel has reportedly told the club’s hierarchy that the 22-year-old striker is underappreciated and believes that his versatility would make him an ideal signing.
The England international, whose current contract at Old Trafford runs until 2023, is willing to consider an offer, particularly if the Reds Devils miss out on Champions League qualification, while the Parisians would be able to afford his price tag of more than £100 million.
Rashford has contributed 21 goals and 10 assists in 38 appearances across all competitions.
