Liverpool are mulling over a summer move for Roma versatile attacker Nicolo Zaniolo.
The 20-year-old has contributed six goals and two assists in 24 appearances for Giallorossi this season, although the midfielder has been out of action since January with a serious knee injury.
The Premier League duo Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are allegedly interested in the Italy international, who has been capped on five occasions by the national side.
However, according to Corriere dello Sport via Daily Mail, the runaway Premier League leaders Liverpool are also in the race for Zaniolo amid suggestions that the Serie A outfit will be forced into selling some of their key players this summer.
The report adds that due to the coronavirus outbreak, Roam are in a difficult financial position ahead of the next campaign.
Zaniolo has netted 12 goals in 60 appearances for the Italian giants in all competitions.
