Real Madrid have reportedly joined the list of clubs wanting to sign prolific RB Leipzig star Dayot Upamecano, according to The Mirror.
The 21-year-old defender has been monitored by a number of Premier League clubs in recent weeks, including Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Barcelona.
The RB Leipzig centre-back has just 12 months left to run on his contract at Red Bull Arena, and it’s unlikely the Frenchman will agree a new deal to stay so it seems inevitable that he’ll move on this summer.
The France Under-21 international has a release clause worth £50million, but it might not even take that much if the Bundesliga outfit decide to sell.
Upamecano chalked up 104 appearances for RB Leipzig since a 2017 move from Red Bull Salzburg.
