Wigan Athletic left-back Antonee Robinson is reportedly on the radar of Chelsea ahead of the summer transfer window.
During the latter stages of the January transfer window, the 22-year-old defender came close to a switch to AC Milan, but a move did not materialise because of his medical.
However, The Mirror claims that the American left-back may get the opportunity to return to the Premier League later in 2020.
The report adds that Chelsea are ready to edge out Aston Villa and Newcastle United in the race to sign the former Everton youngster’s signature.
Despite making 29 Championship appearances this season, the Latics are reportedly ready to cash in on Robinson at the end of the season.
Wigan are likely to demand £10m fee to part ways with the youngster, who has just under two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract at the DW Stadium.
