Manchester City have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Rennes teenage sensation Eduardo Camavinga.
The 17-year-old midfielder has missed just two games for the Ligue 1 outfit this term, playing a crucial part in their rise to third in the league table.
The Premier League champions are renowned for signing up talented prospects from around the world and The Daily Express suggests that they are hopeful of adding the Frenchman to their ranks.
The report goes on to claim that City have made contact with Rennes over a potential move for the teenager but they will face fierce competition from the European heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Manchester United.
Camavinga made his debut for the French under-21s last November.
