Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang breaks silence and issues an apology to Meyer

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has his say on an Instagram after 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

The Gabon striker issued an apology to Meyer and have his say on the sending off. He has taken to Instagram to offer his reaction to his red card.

The 30-year-old attacker was then sent off for a dangerous tackle on Max Meyer during the 67th minute as the Gunners finished the game with 10 men.

Aubameyang will now be suspended for the London club’s forthcoming Premier League action against Sheffield United this weekend.

The Gabonese forward posted on Instagram: “Hopefully Max Meyer get well soon.

“I really didn’t want to challenge him so hard and I appreciate that the boys fought hard to take that win but unfortunately we come back with a draw. We keep going 🙏🏽.”

Arsenal are currently sit in 10th place in the Premier League table.
