Liverpool have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Vitesse Arnhem left-back Max Clark in January transfer window, according to The Mirror.
The 23-year-old defender has impressed this season, having moved to the Dutch outfit from Hull City last year.
Due to a lack of cover for Andrew Robertson, the Premier League leaders have been linked with a number of left-backs in recent months.
The report claims that the Merseyside giants have been left particularly impressed with Clark’s ability, something which Jurgen Klopp values in his full-backs.
The English defender has scored just once and provided three assists from 17 league outings this season.
Jurgen Klopp is thought to be keen on reinforcements as he looks to bolster his team for the rest of the season.
