Nottinghamshire have announced the signing of Pakistan right-arm fast-medium bowler Mohammad Abbas as one of their overseas players for the 2020 County Championship.
The 29-year-old will be available to play in nine Championship games for Notts before joining up with the Pakistan squad to play Test series against England in July.
Abbas has an outstanding Test record, with 66 wickets at 20.37 in his 15 matches, having enjoyed two spells in county cricket with Leicestershire, taking 79 wickets at 20.67.

Notts were relegated to Division Two last summer, after failing to win any of their 14 Championship matches.
They will begin the 2020 campaign against Leicestershire on Sunday 12 April.
