Juventus have reportedly stepped up their interest in Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri, according to The Sun.
The 25-year-old defender is currently regarded as the first choice at Stamford Bridge by manager Frank Lampard.
Palmieri still has more than two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract, the aforementioned report claims that the Serie A champions Juventus are still making a play for the Italy international.
Having worked with the full-back during his time at West London, Maurizio Sarri is keen on to sign Palmieri to provide competition for Alex Sandro.
Palmieri has made eight Premier League starts so far this season.
