Man Utd join Arsenal in race for Merih Demiral?

Manchester United and Arsenal are ready to flex their muscles over the signature of Juventus full-back Merih Demiral in the winter transfer window.

The 21-year-old defender only moved to Turin over the summer but has managed just one Serie A start under new manager Maurizio Sarri so far this season.

Amid interest from both Man United and Arsenal, the Turkey international will consider leaving the Serie A champions in the new year.

According to Tuttosport via The Sun, Juventus will be open to cashing in on the youngster if the right offer comes along in the mid-season transfer window.

It is suggested that both clubs sent scouts to watch Demiral in action during Euro 2020 qualifiers this month.

Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici recently confirmed that the club received an offer from Manchester United for the defender at a time when they were keen on Harry Maguire.
