Manchester United have reportedly expressed an interest in making a bid worth £70m for Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha in next summer’s transfer window.
The Ivory Coast international was signed by the Red Devils in January 2013, only to return to South London in 2015 after appearing in just four senior appearances before being sent out on loan.
According to The Sun, Manchester United are the number one contender Zaha’s signature and will launch a bid worth £70m for the Ivorian next summer.
Zaha, 27, was also met with an approach from Arsenal over the summer, with the Gunners making a bid of £40m that was completely rejected by Roy Hodgson’s side.
Manchester United are desperate to improve their attacking options in the summer and Zaha appears to be a versatile option for the 20-time English champions as the Ivorian is capable of scoring goals.
