Perth Scorchers have announced the signing of England batsman Liam Livingstone for the ninth edition of the Big Bash League, starting December 17.
The 26-year-old has made two T20I appearances for England in 2017, he has also played for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League earlier this year.
The Lancashire all-rounder, who scored 273 runs in 10 innings for the Red Rose in this year’s T20 Blast, is excited to be apart of the three-time BBL champions.
“I’m so excited to have signed with the Scorchers for the upcoming Big Bash, it’s a tournament I’ve always wanted to play in so I can’t wait to get to Perth,” Livingstone said.
“I’ve spent a winter in Perth, I know the place well and I’m looking forward to getting back there.”
Livingstone is the first overseas player for Scorchers this season.
