Manchester United are lining up a big-money offer for Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Red Devils were heavily linked with a move for the 28-year-old defender during the summer before ultimately breaking the record for a centre-back to sign Leicester City’s Harry Maguire.
According to Calciomercato, despite spending big on the England international over the summer, the Premier League giants are still considering a swoop for Napoli’s Koulibaly after a revelation from the club’s chairman Aurelio de Laurentiis.
He is believed to value Koulibaly in the region of £90m, meaning that the Red Devils would likely have to break the transfer record for a centre-back in order to complete a deal.
The Senegal international, who has also been linked with the likes of La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid over the last 12 months, has a contract at Partenopei until 2023.
